Hospitable shipped the first official MCP server from a short-term rental platform in April 2026 and has had longer to refine the experience. If being on the most-established MCP matters to you, that's a genuine point in their favour.

Smart lock integration

Hospitable can lock/unlock smart locks (Nuki, August, etc.) directly via their MCP. hejGuide does not currently integrate with smart locks.

Add the digital guidebook, online check-in, guest portal, EU data hosting, and small-host pricing, and for most independent hosts with 1-5 listings, hejGuide is the better fit. Is my guest data safe with the AI Connection?
Yes. Authentication is OAuth 2.1 with per-scope consent — you approve which modules the AI may touch. Guest names are masked by default in AI responses, PII unmasks are capped at 50 per day per account, require a reason, and are audit-logged for GDPR traceability. You can revoke the AI's access from your account settings at any time.
Can I switch from Hospitable to hejGuide?
Yes. Import your bookings from CSV/Excel and connect your listing platforms via the channel manager or iCal sync. Most hosts switch within a day.
