Can I start for free?
Yes. The Free plan includes 1 listing with a guidebook, calendar, guest portal, and mobile app — no credit card required. Use it as long as you want.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Yes. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
Are there any booking fees or commissions?
No. hejGuide never charges per-booking fees or commissions. You pay a flat monthly subscription — that’s it.
How does extra listing pricing work?
Each paid plan includes 1 listing. Additional listings cost €4/month each. For example, 3 listings on the Starter plan would cost €19 + €8 = €27/month.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. No penalties, no lock-in.
What payment methods do you accept?
For your hejGuide subscription we accept card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) through Stripe. The Pro plan also lets you take card payments from your own guests through Stripe. We do not currently support Mollie, iDEAL, SEPA direct debit, or Bancontact.
Is VAT included in the prices?
No. All prices shown are excluding VAT. VAT is added based on your country’s rate during checkout. EU businesses with a valid VAT number can apply the reverse charge mechanism.
Do you offer yearly billing?
Yes. Switch to yearly billing and save 20% compared to monthly payments. You can switch between monthly and yearly at any time.
What is the AI Connection (beta) and does it cost extra?
The AI Connection lets you connect your own AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, n8n, or any client that supports the open Model Context Protocol) directly to your hejGuide account. It is included on Starter and Pro at no extra charge during beta. AI writes always land as drafts in your dashboard — nothing publishes or sends without your click.
