FAQ

Do I need to buy a domain?

No. Every booking site is live on direct.hejguide.com/your-name from the moment you publish it. A domain of your own is optional; connecting one takes a single DNS record and HTTPS is switched on for you.

Will my site show up on Google?

That is what it is built for: a page per accommodation and per place, structured data with your location, prices and amenities, a sitemap per language, and a notification to search engines whenever you publish a change. Rankings depend on your content and competition, so we do not promise a position — but the technical side is done. Connect your Google Business Profile and verify your domain in Search Console to see it happen.

Is there a booking fee or commission?

No. Not on any plan. Guests pay you through Stripe (Pro) or by bank transfer instructions, and hejGuide takes nothing from the booking.

Does it work in several languages?

Yes. The site follows the languages your guests use; texts you keep in hejGuide are translated automatically, and you can overrule any translation by hand.

Can I have one site for several accommodations?

Yes. A brand site lists all your accommodations with search on dates and guests, and each accommodation keeps its own page underneath. Ideal for a campsite or a family with a few cottages.
